Day 1Thursday
Baltra & Santa Cruz — Las Bachas Beach
Arrival · Sea turtle nesting · Daphne Major circumnavigation
Afternoon
Arrive at Baltra Airport and board the Monique. Your first visit is Las Bachas Beach — a pristine white-sand stretch known as a key sea turtle nesting site, with remnants of WWII barges along the shore. Then enjoy a circumnavigation of Daphne Major Islet, a treeless volcanic cone where you'll spot Nazca boobies, red-billed tropicbirds, and blue-footed boobies from the deck.
Day 2Friday
Rábida Island & Chinese Hat
Red sand beach · Flamingos · Lava tunnels
Morning
Rábida Island features one of the most unique landscapes in the archipelago — a striking red sand beach surrounded by cactus groves. Explore brown pelican nesting colonies and spot flamingos in the salt lagoon.
Afternoon
Chinese Hat (Sombrero Chino) is a small islet off Santiago with a maximum elevation of just 160 feet. Walk across recent lava flows and snorkel in the turquoise channel between the islet and Santiago.
Day 3Saturday
Isabela & Fernandina — Vicente Roca & Espinoza Point
Premier snorkeling · Marine iguana colonies · Pristine wilderness
Morning
Vicente Roca Point on Isabela offers two sheltered coves with excellent birdwatching and some of the best snorkeling in the Galápagos. Keep an eye out for whales, dolphins, and large schools of fish in the nutrient-rich waters.
Afternoon
Espinoza Point on Fernandina — the most pristine island in the archipelago, with no foreign species ever introduced. Walk among hundreds of marine iguanas basking on black lava rocks, spot Galápagos hawks overhead, and observe flightless cormorants drying their wings on the shore.
Day 4Sunday
Isabela — Moreno Point & Elizabeth Bay
Green lagoons · Penguins · Mangrove channels
Morning
Moreno Point presents a dramatic landscape of black lava flows dotted with green lagoons and mangroves. Spot Galápagos penguins, blue herons, and flamingos in this striking volcanic terrain.
Afternoon
Elizabeth Bay is a dinghy-only site where you'll glide through mangrove channels teeming with marine life — sea turtles, rays, and reef sharks in the crystal-clear shallows.
Day 5Monday
Isabela — Urbina Bay & Tagus Cove
Geological uplift · Land iguanas · Historic pirate anchorage
Morning
Urbina Bay was once ocean floor — a dramatic volcanic uplift in 1954 left coral fossils on dry land. Walk among land iguanas, sea lions, and flightless cormorants in this unique geological landscape.
Afternoon
Tagus Cove has served as an anchorage for pirates and sailors since the 1800s. Hike up to Darwin's Lake for sweeping views of the mangrove forest below. This area is also home to the last 35 pairs of the critically endangered Mangrove Finch. Snorkel with Galápagos penguins in the cove.
Day 6Tuesday
Santiago — Espumilla Beach & Buccaneer Cove
White sand · Marine iguanas · Sea turtle nesting
Morning
Espumilla Beach on Santiago Island features white sand, marine iguanas, and Sally Lightfoot crabs. Snorkel in the bay alongside tropical fish and sea turtles.

Day 7Wednesday
North Seymour & Mosquera Islet
Blue-footed boobies · Frigatebirds · Sea lion colony

Flamingo lagoon · Green sand beach · 18th-century postal tradition

Afternoon
Post Office Bay preserves an 18th-century tradition: sailors left letters in a wooden barrel to be carried home by passing ships. Continue this custom before hiking to the Baroness's Lookout for panoramic views of the island.
Day 3Saturday

Morning
Suárez Point is a wildlife spectacle — Nazca and blue-footed boobies nest along the trail, waved albatrosses perform their elaborate courtship ritual, and powerful blowholes shoot seawater up to 25 meters into the air.

Day 5Monday
Santa Fe & South Plaza
Oldest island · Opuntia forests · Dramatic cliff seabirds
Morning
Santa Fe may be the oldest island in the Galápagos. Walk through towering Opuntia cactus forests, encounter the endemic pale-yellow Santa Fe land iguana, and snorkel with sea lions in the sheltered bay.

Sullivan Bay on Santiago Island preserves a vast field of pahoehoe lava from an 1897 eruption — walking across its rope-like formations offers a window into the volcanic origins of the entire archipelago.
