Itinerary at a Glance

Day 1
Arrival in Coca and Kayaking the Tiputini River
Arrive in Coca and travel overland to the Tiputini River. Begin a 5-hour paddle with a riverside lunch before reaching camp. Settle into your tent, enjoy a welcome drink, and end the day with dinner by candlelight.
Day 2
Spider Monkey Trail, Pishñacocha Lagoon, and Night Hike
Kayak downriver at sunrise and hike the Spider Monkey Trail back to the lodge. After lunch, explore Pishñacocha Lagoon and try optional fishing. After dinner, join a guided night walk to spot frogs, spiders, and other nocturnal wildlife.
Day 3
Zoila Cocha and Amaruncocha Blackwater Lagoons
Begin early with a motor-off canoe ride to Zoila Cocha. Continue paddling the Tiputini to Amaruncocha, the Lake of the Anaconda, with lunch on a river beach. Explore its flooded forest before returning for a cultural activity and dinner.
Day 4
Parrot Clay Lick and La Casa de la Abuela
Travel to the Rumiyacu River and hike to a parrot clay lick, observing wildlife and medicinal plants. After lunch at camp, visit La Casa de la Abuela for stories, chicha tasting, and panoramic views. Optional night hike after dinner.
Day 5
Return to Coca
Enjoy an early breakfast and travel by motorized canoe back along the Tiputini. Continue overland to Coca for your airport or bus terminal drop-off.
